Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and Beautification Day

Many thanks to all of the parents who helped with the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and our Fifth Annual Beautification! Both were a HUGE success!  Teachers really enjoyed the Luncheon and we collected enough gift cards so that EVERY staff member received one- thanks to our wonderful parents for donating gift cards and desserts!  Students, parents and staff worked very hard to make the grounds look AMAZING!  Special thanks to parents who donated plants and the Merrifield Home Depot who donated 50 bags of mulch!

Great Big Thank YOU!

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Vienna and Taffy Presents (Theater Arts Festival For Youth- a non-profit organization created by professional artists whose mission is to enrich and entertain underserved children and families by presenting quality interactive fine arts performances and educational workshops in theater, music, dance, and puppetry for schools, hospitals, libraries) .  Their sponsorship and support made it possible for us to bring new, exciting and enriching musical and art experiences into the school to include a Senior Art Project with local artist, Shari MacFarlane.  We have high hopes that next year, with their support, we will be able to bring a Drum Circle program to the school as well.
